Introduction
Eagle festival is one of ”Mini Naadam” of Mongolians that shows the nations feature of Kazakh people. The Kazakh people is only one nation who has kept the unique techniques of hunting by the eagle in Asia. This unique tradition of eagle hunting which came into central Asia 6000 years ago has been one of main product of tourism and the number of foreign and domestic visitor has been increasing for years and is held twice a year-spring and autumn season in Mongolia.
You will drive to Jargalantiin Am of Chinggisiin Khuree camp ,which means “Resident of Great Chinggis Khaan” is located in 25 km along the main road between Ulaanbaatar and Zuunmod ,in “Jargalant valley”of Bogd Khan Mountain, the first protected area in the world. You will watch there all activities of Eagle festival such as the entrants compete for awards of Best Turned Out Eagle and Owner, Best Eagle at Hunting Prey and Best eagle at locating its Owner from a distance, dressed in full eagle hunting regalia and mounted on groomed decorated horses and Bushkashi-goatskin tug of war on horseback. All meals will be provided by Nomadic Journeys.

Saturday March 2nd—Arrival in Ulaanbaatar
Arrival in Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia and to be transferred to the hotel. City tour and tour briefing after dinner.
Sunday March 3rd—The Eagle Festival and Hustai National Park
A.m. drive to Jargalantiin Am of Chinggisiin Khuree where the eagle festival is held. Festival program will be held as following:
In the morning:
The Opening ceremony and Parade of Kazakh falconers with golden eagles will be held first. Demonstration of hunting skills; how well the hunters train their eagles, to be hunted by the eagle, the entrants compete for the awards of the best eagles and a series of other tournaments among the hunters who wear the best national clothes, who has the best eagle, and who has the best horse harness. Lunch will be provided by Nomadic Journeys.
In the afternoon:
The entrants compete with the following; how the hunters domesticize the eagles, goatskin tug of war on horseback, which is a national game of Kazakhs, and grabbing bags with money from the ground while staying on horseback and the King Eagle. Special awards and closing ceremony. Once finishes the festival, drive to Hustai National Park. Have dinner and overnight at Hustai Ger Camp.
Monday March 4th—To Ulaanbaatar
After breakfast, Game drive to the remarkable Neolithic graves of Ungut, of the 7th century A.D and possibility of seeing the Takhi horses at Hustai National Park . In the evening drive back to Ulaanbaatar.
Tuesday March 5th—Departure
Transfer to the airport for international flight out.

This tour is supported by a jeep or minibus depending on the number of travelers.
Accommodation:
We stay in Hustai Ger Camp for the duration of this trip. These permanent camp is equipped with a restaurant and shared bathroom and shower blocks.
Staff:
An English-speaking Mongolian guide will accompany you at all times. Other language guides such as Russian, French, German, Italian, Korean etc. available at additional cost, upon request.
Meals:
The meals will be provided in the ger camps, or as picnic lunches.
Includes:
Guide, all meals outside Ulaanbaatar.
All overnights in ger camp and hotel. All local transport and entrance fees.
Excludes:
Beverages. Lunch and dinners in Ulaanbaatar. Air or train tickets in and out Mongolia.
