Nomadic Journeys offers all kinds of trips in Mongolia. We, however, specialize in treks, horseback journeys and sports fishing, all of which involve camping arrangements. To provide the logistical support in a country such as Mongolia, almost devoid of any infrastructure, requires us to be self-sufficient during most parts of our  trips:

One Mongolian local guide will be with the group at all times.  He or she will collaborate closely with a local trail finder or guide of the area, or sometimes a western tour leader if required. We will bring a cook and often there is also an assistant cook.  Plus the owner(s) of any animals we might hire locally (horses, yaks or camels).
